    1. Haha still working on that! But I got all the other important pieces, and I can ride without the sheepskin for a bit.

    2. I prefer mine without the sheepskin. And I have slick leather, not the suede. Try it before you spend the money.

    3. Well it will be a bit before I can afford to buy the sheepskin with the holidays coming up, unless I can find a decently priced used one ☺️ so I'll have a chance to ride in it without for a bit!

    4. I agree with Karen here too. I use the sheepskin for long trail rides but take it off for arena rides. The suede is actually more grippy than the sheepskin! :D The saddle itself is so comfortable that you don't really need the extra padding/grip of the sheepskin. I adore my Ludomar; can't say enough good things about it! Both of my horses get ridden in it; it fits both of their very different body types with minor saddle pad adjustments thanks to the flexible tree. I'm excited to hear how you like yours!

    5. Had time for a super brief ride in it last night and was thrilled. Rode without stirrups (because no stirrups November haha) and felt super secure! Still shopping for a sheepskin but it's definitely not an immediate need 🙂

    1. I've only ridden in one once but it was so amazing I've been searching for this saddle for years!

  3. But where do the stirrups go?! (Clearly, I do not partake in no stirrup November.)

    1. Hahaha you're the second person to ask that -- I'll have to take pics of it tonight for everyone!

  4. I can't wait to hear your review. Do you get it fitted?

    1. Typically no -- not sure any local saddle fitters would know what to do with it haha. But most of the newer ones have flexible trees and fit the general Iberian shape pretty well. We shall see! I imagine it will fit Cinna very well, but Ruby is a touch narrower.

    2. Is it flocked with wool? Mine is. Once you undo the screw at the front of the saddle, it is easy for a good saddle fitter to reflock or adjust the saddle padding.

    3. I'll have to check when I pick it up today ☺️

    4. What Karen said. My saddle fitter in MD has had no issue reflocking and adjusting my Ludomar.

    5. Interesting! Next time we have a fitter out to the barn I'll have to see what they think ☺️
